Pedro Arboleda, Candidate Group Leader at Monitor Group
Pedro Arboleda is a Senior Consultant at Monitor Group and a leader in the firm’s Regional Economic Competitiveness Practice. In this capacity, Pedro has led a number of regional economic competitiveness projects. In 2001-2002, Pedro was a lead consultant in a five-region, fifteen cluster competitiveness effort, the United States Clusters of Innovation Initiative, as well as Project leader of a Life Sciences Cluster Initiative in New Jersey. In 2002-2003, Pedro served as an advisor to Life Sciences cluster initiatives sponsored by the Governors of Massachusetts, and California, as well as a Project leader of a tourism cluster initiative in South Carolina with the active participation of the Governor of the state. In 2004, Pedro was the project leader of a multinational initiative for the Government of Denmark to benchmark entrepreneurship and recommend policies to advance entrepreneurship in advanced economies, in cooperation with the Paris based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and government Readers from eleven European, Asian and North American nations. Pedro has led follow-up entrepreneurship projects in 2005 in Russia for the US-Russia Business Council and in China for the Development Research Centre of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
