Mr. Michael Schrage, Professor and Investigator at Sloan School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), was invited to FTF's conference on the topic 'Web 2.0: Business Opportunities from Social Network' and the attendees had the opportunity to listen to his speech on this subject.

Michael Schrage, a researcher/lecturer at MIT's Sloan School, Senior Advisor to MIT’s Security Studies Program and a visiting professor at Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology. A former Director of Ticketmaster, he advises its parent InterActive Corp., a leading provider of online transaction services worldwide. He’s been an advisor/consultant to such organizations as Wells Fargo, Microsoft, Google, SAP, Intel, Siemens, HP, Mars, BP, BT and Unicef. A columnist for CIO magazine on IT implementation challenges and diffusion of innovation management for MIT’s Technology Review magazine, he serves on the editorial advisory board of the Sloan Management Review. He has written on national security and business issues for The Washington Post, Financial Times, strategy+ business, the Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, Wired and other publications. He published various books: "Serious Play: How the World's Best Companies Simulate to Innovate," (2000) and “Shared Minds: The New Technologies of Collaboration” (1990).
