Testimonial by John Hoffman, CEO GSMC Limited, GSM Association

“For me, the most distinguished aspect of the Future Trends Forum has been the ability to interact with thought leaders from around the world on various topics that are critical to the global success of our future. I find the FTF sessions some of the most stimulating three days of my year.

Too often as an executive you are caught up in the focus of your immediate activities. It is rare these days to be able to participate in a group initiative that is outside your typical area of expertise.  Maybe in education or politics is this luxury afforded, but in business one is often brought together with other leaders to discuss topics of relevance. Such sessions are usually held with others from within the industry and hence your network is often a closed one.

The FTF has broken this mold by bringing together thought leaders from multi-cultural, multi-disciplined areas and the chemistry is outstanding. I attend the FTF sessions with great enthusiasm as I know I am in for a couple of days of intense effort that is stimulating and personally rewarding as I always walk away refreshed and invigorated after debating a topic that is outside my mainstream area of expertise. No other group affords me this opportunity and I am thankful for the opportunity to have been able to participate in the FTF.

The colleagues I have met during my three years with the FTF are a network of professionals I am thankful to have been a part of and I hope to continue the relations into the future as new topics are put before us to consider and debate.”
