Jens Schulte-Bockum gives a talk on 3G as an Enabler of new services. First he talks about the end to end propositions: new content, terminals, then goes on to talk about pricing, advertising, consumer experience and quality of coverage.
Jens Schulte-Bockum is CEO of Vodafone Netherlands, before he was Chief Executive Officer, Vodafone Netherlands of Vodafone Group Plc, since 2003. Jens Schulte-Bockum worked for Vodafone Group for five years as Director of Terminals for Vodafone Group. Vodafones Global Terminal organization drives the Group Portfolio, User Experience and Innovation Definition, Terminal Technology and Platform Development as well as Global Terminal Supply Chain Management within a single business unit.
Prior to Vodafone, Jens spent 10 years with McKinsey & Co Inc. in Hamburg and New York, where he became Principal in 1998, joined the leadership team of the European Telecommunications Practice and served as Office Manager in Hamburg.
Jens studied at the Oxford College of Emory University in Atlanta from 1986 to 1987 and at Christian Albrechts University in Kiel from 1987 to 1992. He graduated with a Master of Arts at the School of Social Sciences & Economics from the University of Chicago in 1993 and was Research Assistant at the Institute for World Economics from 1989 to 1992.
