John Hoffman is a dynamic and experienced mobile industry executive, with extensive experience of the many facets of the mobile industry. Currently, he is the CEO of GSMC, the subsidiary of GSM Association that runs the Congresses. Previously, John was the President and CEO of Roamware Inc., a telecommunications solutions provider of value added services for wireless operators. He is also a member of the Roamware Board of Directors. From 1997 through 2002, John worked with the GSM Association as a Senior Consulting Director responsible for numerous GSMA initiatives. Hoffman has collaborated with the GSM Association as the author of the Wireless Evolution Newsletter and he also represented the GSM Association as a speaker at numerous wireless telecommunication conferences and seminars. John has held various senior telecommunication positions in his career including the Regional Director of Central and North Florida for BellSouth Mobility; Chief Operating Officer of SONOFON in Denmark; Director of BellSouth International in Brussels, Belgium; General Manager of BellSouth Mobility DCS in Charlotte; Chief Operating Officer of Pocket Communications in Washington, DC. John is a member of the Board of Advisors for Megisto Incorporated. John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture and a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Phoenix. He is a licensed Architect in the State of Colorado and is a keynote speaker.
