Pedro Álvarez

Pedro Álvarez is a food changemaker based in Madrid. He dedicates his life to developing and promoting new generation brands and business models, which contribute to creating a healthier and more sustainable food industry.

He is co-founder and CEO of –ivoro, a food innovation center based in Madrid from where they advise SMEs and food startups to accelerate innovation, increasingly competitive and grow in a sustainable and profitable way. He also founded Mimic Seafood, a startup developing a plant-based alternative to fish. Pedro is also part of the mentoring team of the EIT Food programme.
