Iryna Gurevych

Iryna Gurevych is a German computer scientist. She is Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the Technical University of Darmstadt and Director of Ubiquitous Knowledge Processing Lab. She has a strong background in natural language processing and machine learning. Iryna Gurevych has published over 350 publications in international conferences and journals, is member of program and conference committees of more than 50 high-profile conferences (ACL, EACL, NAACL, etc.) and is a reviewer for DFG, Volkswagen Foundation, ERC, DAAD and BMBF. She is ELLIS Fellow since 2020, has been selected as an ACL Fellow 2020 for her outstanding work in natural language processing and machine learning and received several awards, including an ERC Advanced Grant in 2022.
