Both the volume of investment decreases in 2023, with 32.2% less, and the number of operations with 10.3% less compared to 2022, However, the data are better than those of the years prior to the record of 2021

Rounds in which only foreign investors participate have fallen by 38% in volume and in mixed rounds, where local and foreign investors co-invest, they fall by 44%.

In terms of sectors, Mobility&Logistics leads thanks to the operations of Revel and Cabify, BigData&Analysis thanks to Denodo’s round of more than €300M and Fintech/Insurtech, which has been influenced due to Twinco’s round with more than €60M.

Regarding divestments, the number of exits has decreased by 33%, from 80 in 2022 to 53 in 2023.
