5 motivational talks you should see if you are an entrepreneur (or not)

Need motivation? Write down these five talks and then tell us.

All entrepreneurs tend to have a morality and a very general scope for improvement to that of the rest of mortals. How, otherwise, would they be able to face the earthquake of creating a company, shape an idea and turn it into a sustainable and profitable business project?  But entrepreneurs aren’t superheroes either, hey. No matter how motivated they always are, everyone has their moments of disappointment. If you’re in one of those periods of entrepreneurial slump, we’re going to inject some optimism into you. Watch these five motivational talks for entrepreneurs, which will reactivate you instantly.

1. Steve Jobs’ talk at Stanford

It is a classic, we know, but we could not make a ranking leaving aside this masterpiece of oratory. The talk by the founder of Apple is surely the best example of motivation you will ever find. In it, Jobs tells how difficult his beginnings were, how he left his studies and how he carried out his theory of connecting the dots backwards (not forwards) to make sense of everything he was doing up to that point.

In addition, the founder of Apple also tells how he came up with the first Mac, how he was fired from his own company, how he was eventually asked to come back and also, and perhaps most importantly, what his fight against cancer was like. Seriously: if you haven’t seen it yet, stop everything you’re doing and press play.

2. Jack Ma and his multiple rejections

Alibaba founder Jack Ma has been rejected many times. In this talk-interview he tells how Harvard sent him for a walk up to ten times. In addition, when he wanted to work at KFC, he was the only candidate rejected. And yet, it is where it is now.

It is not the only lesson. Jack Ma also teaches a lot in this video about the importance of having women (47% of his workforce) and how to manage success as you grow.

3. Gary Vaynerchuck and Passion

Are you doing something that doesn’t motivate you? Do you feel like you should do something else? If you can afford it, don’t even think about it: stop working on things that you are not passionate about and look for what really makes you get up in the morning.

4. Ken Robinson and education

What if our education system was wrong? What if we have insisted that our children only learn to memorize knowledge, instead of developing skills? Should we change the method completely? We don’t know if Ken Robinson will change your mind, but, at the very least, he will make you think.

5. Dan Pink and motivation

Traditional methods of reward aren’t working. This is what sociologist Dan Pink believes, for whom we must format our way of seeing motivation – whether personal or business. We warn you: this talk may make you rethink many things.
