Jeremy Myerson

Jeremy Myerson is a researcher, author, and international activist in design and innovation.

She holds the Helen Hamlyn Chair of Design at the Royal College of Art and joined Unwired in October 2015 to establish The WORKTECH Academy, a global knowledge network that looks to the future of work. He has published more than 20 books on different aspects of design and innovation; his most recent titles include Time & Motion (2013) and Life of Work (2014).

A journalist and editor of titles such as Design, Creative Review and World Architecture, he founded Design Week magazine in 1986 and then co-founded the Helen Hamlyn Center for Design at RCA in 1999, which he directed for 16 years until September 2015. .

He has advised companies and governments on design around the world and is a member of the advisory boards of design institutes in Korea, Switzerland and Hong Kong. He has curated major exhibitions at the Design Museum (Doing a Dyson) and the V&A (Rewind: 40 years of Design and Architecture).

He was named by Wired magazine as one of Britain’s 100 most influential people in digital technology, and in 2016 he received an Honorary Doctorate from the RCA for his work in design research.
