Julio Mayol is one of the most influential people in Spain according to the newspaper El Mundo.
He is a professor of surgery at the Complutense University and headof the Office of Medicine and Innovation of the Hospital Clínico and has an extensive career in Health.
He is Secretary of the Board of Directors of BJS; British Journal of Surgery and is also a member of the World Journal of Gastroenterology.
Due to his professional work, Dr. Mayol received the Royal Academy of Medicine Award of Spain, the Fenin and Fujitsu Innovation Award and the recognition as best researcher of the year, in 2015.
