Hwee Nee Chang

Chang is currently Deputy Secretary (Policy) at the Ministry of Education in Singapore.

He is also a member of various public institutions and organizations, including the Singapore-MIT Alliance Governing Board; Governing Board of the School of Postgraduate Medicine; Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Board of Trustees; Civil Service College Board of Directors; and the Board of Governors of the NUS Secondary School of Mathematics and Science. He was awarded the Silver Medal of Public Service (Singapore National Day Award) in 2001.

Chang, a scholarly president, received her Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom and Master of Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, United States.
