Hwee Nee Chang

Deputy Secretary (Politics) of the Ministry of Education in Singapore

Chang is currently Deputy Secretary (Politics) of the Ministry of Education in Singapore. He is also a member of various public institutions and organizations, including the Governing Board of the Singapore-MIT Alliance; Governing Board of the Graduate School of Medicine; Institute for Southeast Asian Studies Board of Trustees; Civil Service of the College Board of Directors; and the Board of Governors of the NUS Math and Science High School.

He was awarded the Silver Medal of Public Administration (Singapore National Day Award) in 2001. Chang, a scholarly president, received her Master of Arts in Economics from Cambridge University, UK and Master of Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, USA.
