Jaime Rodríguez de Santiago-Concha

Jaime Rodríguez de Santiago has been General Manager for Spain since June 2019 at FREE NOW, Europe’s largest urban mobility company. Prior to FREE NOW, Jaime led another mobility benchmark for more than 5 years, BlaBlaCar. Together with his team, he made it one of the most recognized brands in Spain to exceed 5 million users in our country.

Fascinated with technology since his childhood, Jaime has built his career around the transformative impact of technology on society. A Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, he has been linked to technological entrepreneurship since the beginning of his professional career. Before joining BlaBlaCar in 2013, he worked researching new ways to apply technology to university education, was one of the first employees of a pioneering startup in Spain, dedicated to the real-time analysis of big-data for the telecommunications sector (Zhilabs) and led his own online media outlet for three years (6cero). Jaime is a regular speaker and professor at national and international conferences, in the press and in business schools on topics such as collaborative economy, digital transformation, leadership and entrepreneurship.
