Khoo Teng Chye is currently the Executive Director of the Center for Liveable Cities, Ministry of National Development, Singapore.

Khoo Teng Chye was Executive Director of PUB, the National Water Agency of Singapore (2003 to 2011). He has also been Executive Director / Chief Planner of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) (1992 to 1996), Executive Director / Group President of PSA Corporation (1996 to 2002), President and CEO of Mapletree Investments, and Chief Executive Officer (Projects Specials) of Temasek Holdings (2002 to 2003).

He is also the chairman of the Ministry of Human Resources, the Governing Board of the Singapore Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (WSH) and is a member of the Chief Minister’s Advisory Committee for the formation of the New Capital for the state of Andhra Pradesh. , India. He was appointed president of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Singapore on April 1, 2017.
