Javier de Felipe

Professor at Cajal Blue Brain

Research professor at the Cajal Institute (CSIC) specialized in the study of microanatomy of the brain, Dr. de Felipe has a doctorate in biology from the Complutense University (Madrid).

He currently directs the Cajal Blue Brain project – Spanish partner of the Blue Brain Project initiative of EPFL (Switzerland) – and is the Scientific Leader of Subproject 1 of the Human Brain Project (HBP) and a member of the HBP Science and Infrastructure Council.
