María José Sobrini

Maria-José Sobrini leads a global, cross-functional team at Cisco that works closely with leading EMEAR governments to expand the reach and impact of public services.

Previously, she has worked as Director of Cisco Consulting Services and has managed the business of Cisco’s Internet Solutions Group (IBSG) in the Mediterranean territory.

During the last years she has been very focused on global projects around the importance of the intelligent use of ICT, innovation and the development of flexible collaboration strategies to drive sustainable economic growth.

She collaborates with different universities and business schools as a speaker in courses and seminars. María José is an engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and before joining Cisco she worked at Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand as a consultant.
