With over 40 years in semiconductors, he previously served as CEO of GlobalFoundries and held senior roles at Philips/NXP and AT&T Bell Labs. He is recognized for driving innovation in advanced manufacturing, supply chain resilience, and workforce development, and actively advocates for global collaboration to accelerate semiconductor growth and sustainability. Ajit holds a Chemistry degree, has earned multiple industry awards, and was inducted into two Hall of Fame honors in the past five years.
