Alejandro Fernández Riba is the founder and CEO of the Fractalia Remote Systems group. The Fractalia group of companies has a software developer and IT services and engineering subsidiaries.
Fractalia Software develops a world-class software platform that enables telecommunications companies to proactively monitor, manage and maintain their customers’ IT infrastructures remotely, easily and efficiently. Today, hundreds of thousands of PCs are managed with Fractalia’s software platform.
Fractalia’s services subsidiary remotely manages tens of thousands of elements of IT infrastructure in retail stores, hotels and airports, in 12 countries in Europe and America.
At Fractalia, Mr. Fernandez Riba built and led a total team of 120 people, led the company to profitability and completed two successful funding rounds, totaling €6.6 million.
Prior to founding Fractalia, Mr. Fernandez Riba has worked for Lucent Technologies and Arthur D. Little. Apart from being a leader of Fractalia, he has collaborated in the launch of other IT companies such as Zankyou or O2C.
Mr. Fernández Riba holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Ecole Central de Lyon and a degree in Mathematics from the UNED University, Madrid.
He currently collaborates with Professor Ignacio Santillana, teaching World Economic Development at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
