Álvaro Giménez’s research has focused on understanding the internal structure of stars through the analysis of eclipse binaries.
Previously, he was Head of the Science Department in the Science Directorate, but he was Head for 7 years, until early 2018.
Previously, he was also director general of INTA, director of the Center for Astrobiology and research professor at the CSIC.
