Anthony Lewis

Anthony Lewis has led technical innovation for HP with an emphasis on deep learning, control of cyber-physical and computational systems of future paradigms. Dr. Lewis has led research at the Concussion Robotics Lab at UCLA and prior to HP, he was an executive at Qualcomm Corporate R&D. He is known for his groundbreaking work in robotics and the application of neuromorphic and computational neuroscience, robot learning models. At the Caltech Jet Propulsion Lab, Dr. Lewis built an award-winning control system for a robotic hand. In addition, Dr. Lewis has developed motor control chips, animal spinal cord control, and object recognition and modeling aspects of human locomotion with robots.
