Jimena García-Roméu

Jimena Garcia-Romeu is the CEO of Alcyon Photonics, where she leads the development of integrated photonic technologies with applications in communications, sensing, and space. With a solid career across the technology sector, she has held leadership roles in strategy, marketing, and business development at companies such as Microsoft, Huawei, Telefónica and Mytaxi. Jimena is recognized for her ability to bridge deep tech innovation with market adoption, and currently also serves as Vice President of Asociación Española de la Industria de Semiconductores (AESEMI). She holds degrees from UPM, EOI, and UCLA Anderson School of Management.
