Juan Carlos Cortés

Juan Carlos is an aeronautical engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and specialises in aircraft and engines.

He joined the CDTI in 1996 as a member of the Spanish Delegation to the European Space Agency (ESA), participating as a delegate in almost all the committees of the organization. Within the CDTI he has held different positions: Head of the Space Department, Head of the Aeronautics Department, Director of Aerospace Programs, Director of Global Innovative Markets, Director of International Programs and Director of Space, Large Scientific Facilities and Dual Programs.
