Leonid Shapiro runs the management consultancy Candesic he founded in 2002. Leonid specialises in
healthcare and social care, conducting strategy projects for private and NHS organisations as well as
providing commercial due diligence and M&A advice to private equity investors, charities, NHS Foundation
Trusts, and corporates. He is a qualified medical doctor, a PhD, a former senior McKinsey consultant and was
educated in Oxford, Cornell, and Duke University. He speaks Russian and English.
