Marc Mathieu leads strategic client transformation and innovation at Salesforce. Previously, he was Chief Marketing Officer for SAMSUNG Electronics USA. He has held several leadership positions in marketing divisions of Fortune 100 and global companies such as Coca-Cola or Unilever.

Marc is a veteran in the marketing world with a proven track record of success. Named CMO of Samsung Electronics America in 2015, he leads not only the marketing efforts of Samsung’s brands in the U.S., but also the global marketing hub for the company’s excellence.

Prior to joining Samsung, Marc was Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Unilever. There he was responsible for the development of Unilever’s global marketing strategy “Crafting Brands for Life”, an initiative to build purposeful brands that improve the lives of the people they serve.

Prior to Unilever, Marc was Senior Vice President of Global Brand Marketing at Coca-Cola, where he was credited with turning around Coca-Cola with the “Open Happiness” strategy and the global “Coke Side of Life” campaign. He also launched Coke Zero in 50 markets and developed the company’s sustainability platform “Live Positively.”

Marc left Coca-Cola in 2008 and founded the strategic brand consultancy, BeDo, which worked to build purpose-driven brands and merge marketing and sustainability agendas. He is part of the Advisory Panel of the Guardian Digital and Media network and writes for Marketing Week magazine. He is a regular speaker and speaker on topics such as the future of marketing.
