Maria is a partner in ghSMART’s fast-growing European business, where she advises CEOs, boards of directors and private equity investors on leadership issues and critical talent.

María is an executive with more than 20 years in the public, private and non-profit sectors. A creative, strategic and entrepreneurial leader with proven results in creating and executing complex and innovative efforts in multiple sectors; she nurturing diverse groups, leading organizational change, and developing robust data-driven analytics. She is a proven manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and leadership of collaborative teams in a wide variety of government, corporate and non-profit settings.

In addition, she has extensive international experience in Europe, East Africa, Southeast Asia, India and Australia, and deep experience and networks in climate, innovation, public policy, poverty, economic development, health and financial services.
