Matthew Brimer

Mathew Brimer is a founding member of the General Assembly, an educational campus for technology, design and entrepreneurship in New York City (and soon, London). In addition, he is the Founder of the Fund, an early-stage investment fund, powered by a community of successful founders around the world to support the next generation of entrepreneurs. Prior to GA, Brimer founded and ran a risk-backed location-based social gaming company, consulted on Yale’s digital strategy for open courses, worked for Apple as a school representative, started a successful online furniture antiques business, freelanced in web design, and organized startup community events in NYC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Yale University.
