Pablo Rodríguez Fernández leads the “Magnetic Fusion Experiments – Integrated Modeling” Group at MIT, focusing on data-driven and physics-based predictions of performance and transport in burning plasmas. He led the team that demonstrated machine-learning-enhanced tokamak forecasts bridging experiments and high-fidelity codes. A graduate of UPM and Drexel, he is recipient of numerous awards, including being named as Forbes 30-under-30, an active collaborator on both public and private magnetic fusion confinement
facilities.
