Rutger Wijburg

At Infineon Technologies AG he oversaw global manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations. With more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, he previously held senior leadership roles at Philips, NXP, and GlobalFoundries, driving large-scale fab operations and technology transitions. Rutger earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Twente. At Infineon, he spearheaded major initiatives such as the Smart Power Fab in Dresden and high-volume production in Kulim, strengthening Infineon’s position in power semiconductors and advanced manufacturing.
