Valerio Pruneri

His research bridges academia and industry, focusing on advanced materials, photonic and quantum devices, and photonic integration, for telecommunications, sensing, and cryptography. Valerio holds a Ph.D. in laser physics from the University of Southampton and a degree in nuclear engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He has authored over 200 papers, holds more than 70 patent families, and co-founded four spin-offs (Quside, Sixsenso, Luxquanta and Shinephi).
