Victor Canivell

Victor has a successful executive career of more than thirty years in the IT industry. This includes General Management and Vice President positions at leading high-tech companies in European EMEA (Hewlett, Packard, HP, Silicon Graphics, SGI. 3Com, PerkinElmer), followed by CEO and Manager positions at European start-ups in the cybersecurity and bioinformatics markets. He is currently focused on the emerging quantum industry as co-founder and CEO of Qilimanjaro, the full-stack analog QA startup, and as an advisor to quantum software spinoffs. He has been a consultant for the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme for high-tech SMEs. He holds a PhD in quantum physics (UB) and an MBA (ESADE).
