Massimo Migliuolo leads the organization of Service Providers that represents more than 35% of the Emerging Markets Cisco´s business (per segment). Cisco´s Emerging Markets has four main regions: Eastern and Central Europe, Russia and the Community of Independent States, LATAM and EMA.
Previously he was the Vice President for Worldwide Mobile Operations at
Cisco systems, is driving the mobility strategy and directing the implementation of Cisco’s vision for mobile operator customers throughout the world.
Since his appointment in 1999 Massimo has grown the business to the point where Cisco, in conjunction with its partners, is now deploying IP networks for nearly 90% of Europe’s leading Mobile Service Providers.
Massimo’s primary responsibilities are to deliver revenue-generating and cost-reducing solutions for the mobile service provider market and to realise Cisco's goal of delivering market-leading, IP-based voice, video and data solutions, which provide users with ubiquitous Internet access. As well as generating cost savings and process efficiencies, ubiquitous Internet access will allow Service Providers to build closer relationships with their customers, prospects, business partners, suppliers, and employees
Massimo joined Cisco from Lucent Technologies and previously from AT&T, where he was engaged in the development of their mobile market.
Having graduated from the Bocconi University in Milan, with a degree in Business Economics, Massimo spent three years in the Oil Industry, before joining the telecommunications industry.
