Professor in ESADE Business School
Dean of ESADE Business School (affiliated to Ramon Llull University) and Professor of Strategic Management and Public Management.
He holds a Licenciatura degree in Economics (University of Barcelona), a combined BBA-MBA degree (ESADE) as well as a Ph. D. in Economics and Management (University of Barcelona).
Professor Mendoza has taught in several European, Latin American and Asian institutions. He is also a member of the International Expert Group on Public Governance, Finance and Management at SDA-Bocconi in Milan, Italy. Before being appointed dean, he worked as consultant on corporate strategy and organizational change for several Spanish and multinational companies in different industries. He acted as well as policy advisor for several public administrations in Spain. He currently serves as voluntary advisor in strategy development for Oxfam-Intermón, one of the leading NGO’s in Spain whose mission is to promote sustainable social and economic development in less developed countries.
His current research areas are internationalization strategies and the management of professional organizations.
Currently he is member of the following boards and committees: Board of Trustees of the European Academy for Business in Society, Editorial Advisory Board of the international journal "Corporate Governance", AACSB Initial Accreditation Committee, Management Education Committee of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), Executive Board of the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) and Ramon Llull University Executive Board.
