Gloria Ortiz

Gloria Ortiz is CEO of Bankinter. Previously, she was General Manager of Commercial Banking.

Gloria Ortiz joined Bankinter in 2001 as Director of the Financial Control Department. She subsequently worked at the Bank as Chief Financial Officer, Director of Internal Control, Director of Investor Relations and Finance and Director of Investor Relations. Prior to directing Commercial Banking, she was the General Manager of Digital Banking from where she led the bank’s digitalization process.

Prior to Bankinter, Ortiz worked at Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte as an auditor and consultant and at Ernst & Young in management consulting for financial institutions.

With a degree in economics and business administration from ICADE, she has spent most of her career in the financial sector.
