Gloria Ortiz

General Director of Commercial Banking at Bankinter

Gloria Ortiz is the General Director of Commercial Banking in Bankinter. She graduated in Economics and Business Administration from ICADE, and has spent most of her career in the financial sector.

She joined the bank in 2001 as the manager of the Financial Control Department. She subsequently worked at the bank as a Senior Officer of the Financial Management Project, Internal Control Manager, Investor Relations Manager and the Finance and Investor Relations Manager. Prior to Commercial Banking, she was the Digital Banking Director from where led the bank’s digitization process.

Before Bankinter, Ortiz worked at Coopers&Lybrand Deloitte as an auditor and Senior Consultant and at Ernst&Young in Management Consultancy for Financial Institutions.
