Mathematician and Spanish executive, she is President and CEO of Siemens in Spain and independent director of Acerinox and Bankinter. She is also a member of the University Advisory Council of the European University of Madrid.
She has developed her career in the field of Information Technology, which began in 1986 at NEC Group as Director of Technical Support. Three years later he was named Regional Director of WordPerfect in Spain. In 1991, she joined Microsoft Iberia as Director of Technical Support and moved 1996 to the parent company in Redmond (USA) and worked together with the CEO and President Steve Ballmer, as director of Corporate Strategic Projects. In 2000, she was appointed General Director Corporate Sales and Marketing Partner of Microsoft and, in May 2002, she returned to Spain to take the maximum liability of Microsoft Iberia as President of the company. In 2008 he was named vice president of Microsoft Western Europe.
On October 1st , 2011, she joined Siemens as President in Spain. Since the September 30th, 2013, is independent director of Acerinox. She has also been at the Board of Directors of Banesto until its merger with Banco Santander in April 2013.She is a regular contributor on innovation and leadership in different media.
She has received, among others, the "Award for Women Directors" granted by the Spanish Federation of Directives and Women Entrepreneurs (FEDEPE),  "Executive of the Year" awarded by the Spanish Association of Directors (AED) and Women Directive granted by the Spanish Association of Business Women (ASEME) .
