More and more companies, workers or managers are dedicated to this task, which consists of raising the level of their tasks. So do the <strong>applications of artificial intelligence in business<\/strong>: hyperautomation, one of the major industrial trends of the coming years, seeks to increase technology as well as its contribution to the business.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/en\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2021-04-28-gartner-forecasts-worldwide-hyperautomation-enabling-software-market-to-reach-nearly-600-billion-by-2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to forecasts by the consulting firm Gartner<\/a>, the <strong>hyperautomation<\/strong> market will exceed 520,000 million euros in 2022. This cross-cutting trend will transform the way companies of all sizes and sectors work, which will be able to make the most appropriate strategic decisions based on robots.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is hyperautomation?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hyperautomation has a lot to do with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionbankinter.org\/noticias\/la-automatizacion-inteligente-rpa-revoluciona-la-tecnologia-industrial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">intelligent automation<\/a>. This concept adds to the process automation provided by RPA (robotic process automation) other <strong>tools characteristic of Industry 4.0<\/strong>, such as artificial intelligence or machine learning.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this way, intelligent process automation is much more flexible than classic automation, as it even allows robots to react to unforeseen events.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hyperautomation, on the other hand, is an approach that allows companies to <strong>quickly identify, test, and automate<\/strong> as many business and technology processes as possible.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, hyperautomation makes it easier for businesses to decide what gets automated and what doesn&#8217;t. That is, it not only frees workers from spending their day tightening screws or performing dangerous tasks, it also <strong>streamlines decision-making<\/strong> at a higher level.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New applications of artificial intelligence in business<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applying hyperautomation in a company avoids having to identify and prioritize by hand all the processes that are part of it to see which ones are delegated to robots. In fact, the technology it employs is even capable of <strong>understanding the tasks your employees perform every day<\/strong> to suggest which ones should be automated.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To achieve its goals, hyperautomation uses advances such as intelligent automation, data mining, <strong>natural language processing (NLP)<\/strong> or optical character recognition (OCR).  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means, for example, robots capable of reading hundreds of pages of invoices, reports or legislation to obtain intelligence and <strong>identify business opportunities in an instant<\/strong>. They can also engage in conversations, listen or collect information about a customer from the information they leave on different platforms, such as social networks or the company&#8217;s own support service.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hyperautomation goes even a little further in the <strong>applications of artificial intelligence in business<\/strong>. In fact, its use allows other robots to be created autonomously that automate certain tasks, such as helping a user find the information they need or complete a purchase process.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Humans who count (and a lot)<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does all this mean the advent of an era in which robots will slowly eat up our ground and end up firing us all? Not at all: <strong>human skills such as critical thinking<\/strong> or data interpretation will continue to be essential for sound decision-making.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A clear example in this regard is the automation of people management in a company. Without humans behind them, there is a risk of trusting personnel decisions exclusively to productivity or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionbankinter.org\/noticias\/ia-aprende-de-nosotros\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biases of artificial intelligence<\/a>, without taking into account other factors.
