At Tucuvi they have created a <strong>virtual caregiver, which helps the elderly through phone calls thanks to<\/strong> the use of artificial intelligence. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below, you can watch the interview we did with Mar\u00eda to learn how her company has offered solutions to alleviate the consequences of the pandemic:<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Startups vs Covid-19: Tucuvi\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Er6Y_wiv6Tw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tucuvi, an assistant to monitor the elderly.  <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the midst of the crisis caused by Covid-19, both the health systems and the health call-centers, <strong>Tucuvi helped to cover the situation of the elderly<\/strong>, both emotional and physical, who, in most cases, have been alone during confinement. Tucuvi <strong>has called more than 14 thousand people<\/strong>, and then referred the most serious or urgent cases to the telecare company. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, it is helping to <strong>monitor people who have been discharged from hospitals<\/strong>, reducing the pressure on the health system and increasing knowledge of the evolution of the disease.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the differential advantages of Tucuvi is that <strong>its service is carried out through telephone attention<\/strong>, since the elderly do not always have the necessary technological skills to download and use an App, but they do feel comfortable on the phone.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionbankinter.org\/blog\/noticia\/future-trends-forum\/asistentes-virtuales-que-nos-acompanaran-en-nuestra-vida-diaria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Virtual assistants<\/a> such as Tucuvi still face several challenges in their development, such as data management or how to know efficiency or satisfaction indicators. In the interview, Mar\u00eda tells us that she has about<g id=\"gid_1\"> 10% of calls that then lead to face-to-face assistance<\/g>, which shows that users are well selected and need help.
