The consulting firm Gartner has gone ahead and predicted in a report<\/a> what, in its opinion, will be the most strategic technological trends for next year. <\/strong>Among the bets, Artificial Intelligence (AI) clearly stands out as the<\/a><\/strong> origin of a new stage in technological development that companies and institutions must undertake in order not to miss the opportunities of this new revolution.<\/p>\n

The ten 2019 technology trends <\/strong>that Gartner advances in its study are:<\/p>\n

1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Artificial intelligence <\/a>will enable the automation of tasks and the interaction between objects and people. Robots, drones, vehicles and other types of devices will operate autonomously (IoT); <\/p>\n

2. Machine learning<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Analytics based on machine learning<\/strong>, which will make it easier for companies to dig deeper into things like data quality.<\/p>\n

3. New phases of Artificial Intelligence<\/strong><\/h2>\n

4. Simulators<\/strong><\/h2>\n

They will allow new possibilities to be explored in the transit of cities as intelligent and collaborative systems.<\/p>\n

5. Empowered Edge<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Empowered Edge is a technology that will make it easier to place a multitude of devices closer to the sources of information<\/strong> in order to reduce latency in the processes. This is one of the challenges that has always been associated with the evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT). <\/p>\n

6. Augmented Reality<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Augmented reality and immersive processes to improve the user experience<\/strong>, something that is essential for companies.<\/p>\n

7. Blockchain<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Blockchain <\/a>or block technology will begin to consolidate itself next year as a ledger technology. <\/strong>We will see the emergence of more applications of Blockchain in the financial sector, but also in the realm of public institutions and governments.<\/p>\n
