Platforms are used to create business models that generate income in various ways: intermediation, subscription, or freemium models. Platform-based business models are revolutionizing many sectors of activity<\/strong>, giving rise to new competitors that break into the traditional market and are forcing the traditional player in the sector to innovate. <\/strong>This is provoking legislative reactions to regulate the sectors that are affected by this new platform model. But what Albert assures us is that we must understand the success of platform models that demonstrate their effectiveness and their ability to reach the general public in a useful way, to improve each and every one of the sectors, combining the positive things of each of the agents involved: the traditional and the platform-based. <\/p>\n
