She gave a talk about <\/span><b>this technology and how it interacts with artificial intelligence.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Quantum computing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is producing a <\/span><b>technological revolution<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as it enables an exponential computational power. This may help solve some of the most complex problems in the world.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As Tanisha explains, <\/span><b>quantum computer leverages quantum mechanics, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the rules, and the laws we use to understand how things work and how they interact at a tiny scale, at a nano scale: protons, electrons\u2026 things we cannot see, and how they interact with each other.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two properties of quantum mechanics are very useful to <\/span><b>understand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionbankinter.org\/en\/category\/technology\/quantum-computing-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quantum computing<\/a>: superposition and entanglement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Superposition means that you can have a particle anywhere, exactly at the same time, without being seen. Entanglement means that two particles, two dots of information can be correlated: when one is affected, that affects the other one directly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>The sheer amount of data available to us at present\u2014unstructured for the most part\u2014makes for a very difficult analysis and insightful conclusions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Tanisha illustrates this point with problems such as climate change, hunger in the world, the food crisis, the real estate crisis, or cancer.
