We are at a time when advances in biotechnology, neuroscience, neurotechnology, genetic engineering and artificial intelligence have transformed science fiction into urgent ethical and scientific questions about who we are and what we will become.

We want to review the application of existing technologies, exploring their implications for individuals, businesses and governments.

Precisely, the aim of the 40th Future Trends Forum is to explore the key areas where technologies will have the greatest impact, the forum will look at broader scenarios for improving health and enhancing human capabilities, as well as the ethical implications they will have.

Over two days, the conversation will cover the various aspects of the roadmap, focusing on: Brain/neuroscience, exoskeletons, brain/body-machine interfaces, implantable/wearable chips, molecular biology, gene editing/CRISPR and ethical issues.
