Sehila Gonzalez de Vicente

Sehila González is Global Director for Fusion Energy at Clean Air Task Force (CATF), a post she assumed in 2023 after more than one decade first leading fusion-materials programmes at EUROfusion/EFDA and then serving as the International Atomic Energy Agency’s senior fusion physicist. A physicist with a PhD in materials science and a MBA, she champions technology-neutral, safety-first policies as well as private enterprises role to accelerate commercial-scale fusion demonstrations and uphold non-proliferation. She co-founded and chairs the Women in Fusion network and sits on technical advisory bodies including the UK Fusion Technical Advisory Group, KIT Energy Advisory Board and IFMIF-DONES España.
