Christoph Steck

In his role as Director of Public Policy and Internet at Telefónica, Christoph Steck oversees the strategy and development of Telefónica’s global Public Policy work and defines its positions on Digital Policy, Internet and issues related to the Digital Economy.

He is Vice President for Business at the OECD Digital Economic Policy Committee, Vice President of the Digital Economy Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Chair of the Internet Governance working group of ETNO (European Association of Network Operators) and Member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) of the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF).

He was heavily involved in the founding of Alastria, Spain’s National Blockchain Consortium. He has overseen the publication of Telefónica’s influential Digital Manifesto.
