Clara Jimenez

Clara Jiménez is the CEO and co-founder of Maldita.es, a Spanish fact-checking, transparency and data journalism foundation and media outlet focused on engaged journalism and technology.

He has developed most of his professional career in laSexta (national television channel), first in the news and then in different programs of the channel.

She was appointed as a member of the High Level Group Against Disinformation by the European Commission on behalf of Maldita.es and is currently a member of the advisory board of the International Fact-Checking Network and the advisory board of #FemFacts, a project of News Mavens. She was selected as a 2019 Ashoka Fellow.
