Carlos Mira

Carlos Mira is Founder and President of Cre100do.es, a program aimed at supporting 100 Spanish mid-cap companies with the potential to become big through innovation, internationalization and competitiveness. Cre100do is sponsored by the Bankinter Innovation Foundation, ICEX, Círculo de Empresarios and 15 other leading companies such as Accenture, AT Kearney, Deloitte, ESADE, Garrigues, IBM, IESE, McKinsey and Telefónica.

Carlos has more than 35 years of professional experience in Information Technology and Telecommunications in multinational companies with global and regional functions (SVP of Corporate Development at Alcatel-Lucent, President and CEO of Mobile Europe at Lucent Technologies, and Director of Industry and Services at Thales). He was also a professor of electronics and computer systems at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

He has co-founded technology companies such as Empays Payment Systems in India, and has been involved in the development of others in Europe and the US. He is currently a member of the Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards of public and private companies, venture capitalists, think tanks and foundations in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and India.
