Cristina Aranda
Cristina is a Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) consultant and co-founder of MujeresTech, a non-profit organization that promotes the presence of women in the digital field. In addition, she is co-founder of the ELLIS Alicante center, dedicated to addressing fundamental challenges in AI with a focus on research excellence and social impact, and co-founder of the Spain AI Aragón community.
She advises Spanish government entities and regional institutions on new technologies, diversity and AI. She belongs to the Gender Table of the Red.es body of the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transformation, leads the technology area of the Covid19 Think Tank of the Government of Aragon and is part of the advisory committee to define the regional AI strategy for Aragon. He was a speaker at TEDxZaragoza2018.
Cristina holds a PhD in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, a BA in Hispanic Philology, a Master’s Degree in Internet Business, and obtained a Meridian Scholarship for Social Innovation.
In 2020, she was named as one of the 25 most influential people in Spain in the Internet sector by Merca2 magazine.
In 2019 she was named one of the 9 most influential young entrepreneurs in Spain, by Emprendedores magazine.
