Martin Varsavsky is an entrepreneur, professor, and serial investor who has founded 8 companies in the United States and Europe over the past 30 years.

In 2015, funded by Lee Equity, he founded Prelude Fertility/Inception, which today is the largest chain of fertility clinics in the United States. In 2017, Martin founded Overture Life.

In 2018, Martin founded Goggo Network, a funded startup that is helping to develop the legal and engineering framework for fleets of autonomous vehicles.

At the beginning of his career in the 1990s, Martin built Viatel, which became the first pan-European fibre optic network and later became Jazztel. In the early 2000s, Martin developed Ya.com, which was sold to Deutsche Telekom. Martin subsequently co-founded Eolia, together with Miguel Salis, one of the largest renewable energy companies in Spain. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the German media company Axel Springer.

Martin Varsavsky is a professor of entrepreneurship at Columbia Business School. He has also been a professor at Columbia University, New York University, and IE University. Martin Varsavsky manages his investments through his family office Jazzya Investments, and two funds, with a combined capital of $200 million. These funds are Varsavsky Axel Springer or VAS Ventures, which makes investments in the seed and early stage, and Martin Varsavsky Bankinter or MVB, which makes late stage investments and in funds.
