If we can understand the brain, we will be able to address diseases and disorders that have so far eluded us.
José Ignacio Latorre received his PhD in the theory of quantum chromodynamics of elementary particles. He did postdoctoral studies at MIT in Boston, and later at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen. He is currently the Director of the Center for Quantum Technologies in Singapore, and Chief Researcher at the Technology Innovation Institute, in Abu Dhabi. He is a co-founder of Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech. He has done research in several areas of elementary particles, artificial intelligence applications and quantum computation. He has also written four popular books, one theater play, and produced two documentaries
