Susana Reyes is Vice President for Chamber & Plant Design at Xcimer Energy, steering the firm’s laser-driven inertial-fusion power-plant architecture. A nuclear engineer with 25 years’ experience, she previously led fusion safety and design work at Lawrence Livermore and served as deputy director for both US ITER (Oak Ridge) and SLAC’s MEC-U upgrade. Reyes holds engineering degrees from Madrid’s UPM and UNED and chairs the Fusion Power Associates board while championing diversity in the fusion workforce.
