Global change maker working with business, governments and NGOs
Recently Uschi joined APM, an Australian headquartered company with business activity in Europe and North America, as Chair, Health Care.
Uschi is also a Non-Executive Director on the board of Domino’s (DPE) which works across 10 countries. She is the Chair of the Remuneration Committee, a member of the Audit Committee and a member of the business Advisory Boards for Germany and Australia/ New Zealand.
She continues to work as a consultant on business and market strategy as well as an executive coach.
Between April 2019 and August 2020 Uschi was also EY’s Fellow, Digital Society and Innovation.
Uschi has an international profile and is recognized as a transformational leader with extensive experience in driving change in large and complex organizations. Originally from Germany, Uschi has lived and worked in the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia with experience spanning mature and emerging markets.
Until 2018, Uschi Schreiber was a member of the Global Executive Board of EY, the global professional services firm. Here she was responsible for EY’s account and industry focused go-to-market approach, and its globally integrated planning across service lines, sectors and geographies. This included responsibility for seamless, international service delivery to EY’s biggest global clients.
Prior to joining EY, Uschi was a successful CEO of a multi-billion dollar health organization in Australia. She has significant experience as a senior public servant in Government, leading social, economic and legislative reform processes.
She is passionate about working building businesses and working with people on organisation and system improvement. She is a sought after public speaker and blogger, contributing to the public debate on issues such as technology, disruption, leadership, gender and health.
Uschi is a leader in progressing women’s issues in an international context. She initiated EY’s global Women.Fastforward program on gender parity and is the founder of the Worldwide Women Public Sector Leaders Network. A regular participant of the Global Economic Forum, she has also participated in WEF’s Agenda Council for the Future of Government and acted as an advisor to the Women Political Leaders Global Forum.
Uschi holds academic qualifications at Masters level from universities in Australia and Germany.
